It is the policy of DCCCA, Inc. that personal information about our website visitors will be collected only to the extent necessary to provide the service or benefit desired; that only appropriate information will be collected; and that website visitors shall understand the reason the information is collected.

Personal Information

DCCCA, Inc. does not require you to provide any personal information when using its website. In the event that you request information from us, it may be necessary for you to provide enough information to process your request.

DCCCA, Inc. does not place a “cookie” on your computer. This means we do not save any information about you or your visit on your computer.

Information From E-Mail You Send To Us

If you decide to send us an electronic mail message (e-mail), the message will usually contain your return e-mail address. If you include personally-identifying information in your e-mail because you want us to address issues specific to your situation, we may use that information in responding to your request. Sometimes we forward your e-mail to other agencies that may be better able to help you or answer your question. We do not distribute lists of e-mail addresses to any parties outside of DCCCA, Inc. Except as required by law, we do not share your e-mail with any other outside organizations.

DCCCA, Inc. is pleased to respond to general e-mail inquiries concerning its services, but state and federal laws do not allow us to provide personal, confidential or case-specific information through this forum. Also, e-mail inquiries sent to DCCCA, Inc. are not secure or confidential.

Information Collected From Interactive Forms

On some of our website pages we offer interactive forms that let you voluntarily submit personal information (such as your e-mail address, name and street address). This occurs when you are requesting information. All submitted information is used only for the expressed purpose for which it is intended and is not made available to any third party.

DCCCA Sponsored Event Registration

Cancellation, Refund and Privacy Policies

If you must cancel your registration for an event, please do so as early as possible so another person can take your place at the event.

Event Cancellations

DCCCA reserves the right to cancel events. If an event is cancelled, a credit for a future training event or full refund will be given to each paid registered participant. DCCCA accepts no responsibility for travel arrangements or any other loss due to cancellation of an event.

Canceling Your Registration/Refunds

If you are unable to attend an event in which you have enrolled you have the option of sending a substitute in your place or cancelling your enrollment. Cancellations received in advance of the event, by the date specified in registration information for the event, will receive a full refund. Failure to notify DCCCA of a cancellation as required will result in a forfeiture of registration fees.

Refunds will be made by check and will normally be processed within 30 days following the determination that a refund is due.

When you register for an event sponsored by DCCCA, the information you provide will be used only to complete your registration. We will secure your information by using the appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard against unauthorized use. We will never divulge your e-mail address to third parties, except as required to process your information.

Once you have opted into our e-mail distribution list, we may initiate limited communications with you, including our monthly newsletters, course updates and/or promotions. We promise to limit these communications both as to frequency and content, and not to make a nuisance of ourselves. Upon written request, we will remove you immediately from our distribution list.

DCCCA reserves the right to alter its privacy policies. Any changes to the policy will be posted on this page. For those who either have used or will use DCCCA for services or information, this privacy statement is a supplement to, not a replacement for, any other privacy agreements or terms already provided by DCCCA.
